Hradčany
During the ninth century, Bořivoj, the Duke of Bohemia, commissioned the construction of the Prague Castle, founding the city of Prague. Centuries later, Hradčany was established just outside the Castle.
The founding of Prague began with the construction of the castle by Prince Bořivoj of the Přemyslid dynasty in the 9th century. Hradčany was the town that began being built in the 14th century outside the castle walls.

- Sternberg Palace: From the mid-twentieth century, this palace houses part of the National Gallery’s collection of European Art.
